Mediation

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a confidential and non-adversarial process intended to help couples reach settlements on all issues relating to their separation. It is often the preferred choice for couples wishing to avoid the timely, costly, and emotionally draining process of going to family court

Lawrence Mediation Services Specializes in Separation and Divorce Mediation, Collaborative Family Law and Counselling.

What is a Mediator

A mediator is an impartial and neutral third party that can help you reach an agreement on a variety of issues, including support payments, the division of property, and child custody and access. Mediators, unlike judges or arbitrators, do not decide cases or impose settlements. A mediator is a person trained to help you and your spouse discuss your issues, understand each other’s position, and try to reach an agreement.
